Members

Members are the backbone of Arts Alliance Illinois: the largest connected state-level arts advocacy network fighting for arts resources and policies that benefit its members and all Illinois residents.

Joining The Alliance is easy with affordable memberships available across the sector:

  • Individuals: arts administrators, independent artists, students, and other professionals in the creative sector.
  • Organizations: local arts agencies, service organizations, visual and performing arts organizations, and other 501(c)(3) and tax-exempt entities, including their staff and board members.
  • Enterprise Partners: corporations, LLCs and other creative industry companies

Click here to read about our recent success in securing $50 million dollars for arts and culture in the Illinois capital bill.

Alliance Members can take advantage of a full range of programs and services, including

  • Representation from a dedicated lobbyist with deep relationships in Springfield, Chicago, and across Illinois
  • Seats at the table in policy-shaping meetings with civic leaders throughout the state (mayoral transition team, deputy governor, legislative leadership, etc.)
  • Advocacy on your behalf for funds and legislation that directly supports you and your stakeholders
  • Trainings and individual coaching for your staff and board (Advocacy 101 and the Power of Storytelling)
  • Access to communications and briefings keeping you informed of the latest developments, action items, and opportunities within the creative sector
  • Deep discounts on registrations to the biennial, statewide conference One State Together in the Arts, professional development opportunities, and other convenings
