Arts Advocacy Day
National Arts Advocacy Day is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for advocates to speak out for the arts and arts education and be heard by Congress.

Each year Arts Alliance Illinois leads a delegation of arts advocates to Washington, DC for National Arts Advocacy Day. It starts with a day of dynamic, hands-on trainings that empower you with the knowledge and know-how to lobby Congress for increased investment in the arts. Then we head to the Hill to meet with members of the Illinois congressional delegation and their staff to talk about the importance of the arts.
April 8 & 9, 2013 marked the 26th annual Arts Advocacy Day. Read more on our blog.
