National Arts Advocacy Day

2016 Illinois Delegates

National Arts Advocacy Day

Each year Arts Alliance Illinois leads a delegation of arts advocates to Washington, DC for National Arts Advocacy Day, a one-of-a-kind opportunity to speak out for the arts and arts education and be heard by Congress. It starts with a day of dynamic, hands-on training sessions that empower you with the knowledge and know-how to lobby Congress on behalf of pro-arts policies. Then we head to the Hill to meet with members of the Illinois congressional delegation and their staff to talk about the importance of the arts.

To learn more about how to participate, contact Jonathan VanderBrug, Policy and Research Director, at vanderbrug@artsalliance.org.
