Illinois Cultural Data Project
Learn about this exciting project that’s coming to Illinois in 2009. The Cultural Data Project (CDP) will benefit the cultural sector by providing comprehensive, standardized data on the arts and culture community.
The CDP will allow arts managers to make smarter decisions based on easy to access data and enable the cultural community to articulate and provide evidence for the sector’s assets, needs, and its contributions to the state.

Building the 21st Century Agenda for Cultural Democracy
Presented in partnership with The Association of American Cultures (TAAC)
Explore what is required to further advance cultural democracy platforms in today’s new era of change. TAAC convenes artists and cultural workers that are reflective of our pluralistic society to inform and advocate for democratic cultural policy.
TAAC was founded in 1985 and has sponsored eleven biennial Open Dialogues to address issues of cultural diversity in the arts. Illinois will host Open Dialogue XII in 2010.
