Illinois needs and deserves a powerful, effective advocate for the arts - an organization that works everyday of the year to keep Illinois arts alive and well.

In the year ahead, the Illinois Arts Alliance Foundation will:

  • Implement our advocacy strategies for Illinois Creates, our recently launched statewide initiative to ensure that arts education is a core component of the standard curriculum in Illinois public schools;
  • Bring advocates together with elected officials and key decision makers to advance public policy supportive of the arts;
  • Use our expanded Web site and e-mail capabilities to broaden the network of informed arts advocates;
  • And continue to serve the many arts professionals throughout the state who keep our arts organizations artistically and economically vital. Through Peer Coaching Circles and a Mentor Connection Referral Service we will provide professional development opportunities for established and emerging arts leaders.

The Illinois Arts Alliance Foundation's success and ability to carry out our important work on behalf of the arts and arts advocates like you is possible thanks to the generosity of our donors. Please help us help all the arts in Illinois by making a tax-deductible gift to the Illinois Arts Alliance Foundation today.
