Mentor Connection Service

The Mentor Connection Service facilitates mentoring relationships between established and emerging arts leaders in order to encourage professional growth, provide skill and leadership development, and promote retention within the field. IAA does this by recruiting interested arts administrators, matching them with a mentor or mentee according to their needs, training participants and providing resources, support and guidance for a 12-month period.

The program was developed as part of our Arts Leadership for the 21st Century project in response to the stated needs of Illinois arts leaders and is based on research, best practice review and a series of conversations with emerging and established arts leaders.
